Tony and David are climbing, I need one person on the catwalk. Bring HT and if you are on catwalk an earpiece may be handy as the echo is bad.

Let me know ASAP. I am a little late on the notice.

I am staying on the ground this time.

Alinco DR-735T 50W Mobile/Base VHF+UHF Full-Duplex Transceiver

Michael Payne K5MFP

A fellow ham, James Means - AG5IX, has the following radio for sale at the attractive price of $95. The first person that contacts AG5IX and has the money, will get it. This is a expensive radio, they run around $300. Power Poles have been added, powered up and hits local repeaters. 50 watts output. This radio will also cross-band repeat!

Be sure to contact James Means, AG5IX at starlightrevolt@.... Don't contact K5MFP, michael.f.payne@...!!!!

NOTE!

The radio does not come with a paper manual or programming cable. Just the radio. I have downloaded and attached the manual for this radio.. I suggest getting the programming cable and software from RTSystems.  CHIRP doesn't list this radio as one it supports.

Here is some additional info:

Alinco DR-735T 50W Mobile/Base VHF+UHF Full-Duplex Transceiver
  • Full-duplex receiver enables simultaneous TX/RX within 144/440MHz bands as well as V/V and U/U receiver capability.
  • Features eight full RGB color LEDs enabling you to customize your display colors in the set mode.
  • Fully independent frequency, audio level and squelch knobs for right and left VFOs make it seem more like operating two monoband radios rather than a dual band transceiver.
  • Simply press the volume knob to select the VFO you wish to use for transmitting.
  • Cross-band repeater function available on all DR-735T radios.(Be sure to observe all regulations applicable to cross-band operation.)
  • Computer programmable with free software available for download at www.alinco.com
  • "Set Mode" menus are divided into basic and advanced, allowing you to assign less frequently used modes such as auto power off or busy channel lockout to set and forget. That makes it easier to access the menus you use more often, such as scan mode and pager settings.
  • Large heatsink and quiet fan for stability while operating
  • Wide and narrow ceramic filters enable true narrow band operation
  • Two speaker ports located on the back of the unit allow you to separate signals by both right and left sides or by internal or external speakers using audio from a single external source.
  • Features manual shift and offset direction setting plus preset and programmable auto-repeater settings. Includes 4 tone-burst tones.
  • Includes 1,000 memory channels in 10 banks, 100 right-only/100 left-only memories, 100 dual memories, 5 pairs of programmed-scan channels, and 2 call channels. All memory channels can hold output setting, tones, LCD display color selections and more.

Be sure to contact James Means, AG5IX, at email address starlightrevolt@...

Regards,

Michael Payne   K5MFP

Good evening to all.

I just wanted to say that I went in the hospital on last Friday and back home on Sunday  for a while. I had intense pain Saturday when i woke up, but that was soon over. I had my right knee replaced with a new one.

I am home now resting and recuperating. I hope to hear everyone on the air!!

I had my second total knee replacement done on last Friday, after replacing the left knee in July of last year. We'll see how the PT guys help me in the coming months.
